Purchasing our Games
Buying our games is easy with our streamlined shopping cart system! If you are used to purchasing items online, you should be readily familiar with our shopping cart and checkout processes. If you are new to online shopping, we trust that we have made the process as straightforward as possible. Browse through our online inventory. When you find something you’d like to buy, click the “Buy Now” or “Add Item” button for that title. This will take you directly to your shopping cart window. From there, you can choose to complete your purchase, update item quantities (including removing items from your cart), or continue shopping.
When you are ready to complete your purchase, return to your shopping cart; the shopping cart appears and remains available on the left sidebar as soon as you’ve selected your first item(s) for purchase. Click the “Check Out” button to go to the page where you will enter your billing and shipping information. Fill in the necessary information, follow the clear directions and prompts, and wait for the onscreen confirmation that your order has been successfully processed. You will also receive an Order Confirmation email detailing the completed transaction.
All our games are brand new and in excellent condition, unless clearly designated otherwise. Occasionally, we make damaged games available through our web site. These games are always clearly marked as either ding/dent or minor ding/dent. In every case the game is not damaged unless we indicate that it is damaged. In order to search for these ding/dent games, type “ding” or “dent” in the search field and it will show the ding/dent games that are available.
We strive to maintain as accurate stock estimates as possible. Each game listing features a Stock Status that indicates exactly what we have on hand, as well as how long you may expect to wait for the items not currently here on our shelves.
In Stock – We have the item here, and will ship as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours of purchase) unless it’s included in an order with other items not currently in stock. See below.
Backordered – The item is not here, but is on order: we have posted a time frame in which we expect to receive more copies. Backordered items may be added to a current order, but please note: your order will not ship until all the games you have ordered are here, and your invoice is thus complete.
Preorder – The item has not yet been released. Given the often large discrepancies between posted release dates and the date we actually have most new games here in our hands, we tend to limit the games we make available this way. Still, you may notice that some of the newer titles display the ability to be purchased ahead of time, and/or added to a current order. Note: your order will not ship until all the games you have ordered are here, and your invoice is thus complete.
Special Order – An item for which we do not maintain constant inventory, but available to us, and thus to you, within days. Note: your order will not ship until all the games you have ordered are here, and your invoice is thus complete.
Please Note: We post expected time frames in which each Backordered, Preorder, and Special Order games should be available. We keep this information as current as possible, but cannot guarantee these time frames. We have no control over them! If you need your order earlier than it is expected to arrive, please contact and let us know how to proceed. Options include shipping all in-stock items immediately, then sending the remaining game(s) once we restock (for an additional shipping charge) or canceling all or part of your order, and shipping whatever remains. We will work with you to complete the order to your satisfaction.
We accept : MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. We also accept payments via PayPal, Checks, Money Orders, and cash (from local customers).
Credit Cards and PayPal – Online credit card payments are processed through Authorize.Net, a secure payment processor specializing in reliable online payment services. PayPal employs its own secure servers for handling payments. We usually capture the card’s authorization after an order is mailed, however since we do not hold any credit card information in our system (complying with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) and due to fines from the credit card company for holding authorizations more than 7 days, we will capture charges prior to shipment whenever an order takes longer than 7 days to ship. Should you choose to cancel the order at any time, we will gladly refund your entire payment.
Check and Money Orders – If you select the Check/Money Order payment option when completing your order, your email order confirmation will include instructions on where to send your payment. Once we receive your payment, we will process your order. Money Order payments will ship right away, while orders paid via personal check may be held up to 10 days. If we do not receive your payment within two weeks of your placing an order, and you have not contacted us to explain the delay, we will delete your invoice and return all items therein back to our stock.
